How Did You Avoid Getting Sent to Hell?

I'm not really pleased with my slow pace today. I've really had to struggle to get the little bit I did and that pisses me off to no end. The only real progress is now everyone has names. Tyler is now Azriel, but I'm afraid that it's too cliche. Damian is now Lucian, because I've always had a fondness for that name. The woman on the roof is Alania, and She I think will end up being Mirelle, but he will only find that out after the fact. I guess that's accomplishment since she's not bitching yet.

It's All Just Part of the Surprise.

It's official: she has finally been dealt with after three fucking years of agonizing over her fate. The train ride proved to be rather productive and now I have a new line of thought to ponder about the woman on the roof....

A Smirk to Match My Own.

Today has been....productive, to say the least. A writing assignment from class ended up getting absorbed my novel and I seem to have accidently killed someone who is scarily like me. That wasn't supposed to happen, but it did and I move on, now. Also, the one place towards the end that had been giving me so many problems because I didn't know which way to go has now been resolved, not to mention the brilliance and beauty of the Rooftop Woman. A good day, overall, so I'm pleased.

I Know What You Need.

Holy shit, holy shit, holy shit. The woman on the roof told me two days ago that she would be reappearing later, which was impressive enough news. Then she tells me today who she was and then bang she gives me five easy pages of brilliance and wit. She'd give me more, but sadly I have to get up early and go to school for a paycheck. But I think she's understanding enough to come back later. Goddamn this makes me happy.

How Is He?

The train ride home was productive, but this weekend wasn't nearly as much as I would have hoped. Trying to at least make some sort of outline and plug some holes that are missing in my plot. I'm turning in what I have to my writing teacher Monday, so I hope to have a bit more done. But only time will tell, I suppose.

Oh, and a great line from The Incredibles that I would love to incorperate:

"You didn't save my life -- you ruined my death!"

Maybe I'll find a way....

And I Thought I Knew You.

Well, I thought I was going to sleep. Instead, I couldn't get my mind off of that which I love obsessing over during the long night hours. So I decided to edit, to write. My word count should prove testiment to the torments that I'm facing. Mind you, this was about an hour worth of work. Angry fingers make the best little helpers for word count.

Consider This a Test of Trust.

Having not accomplished anything during the weekend, I started working lightly today after my midterms just doing so minor editing. Didn't really get that far ahead, but tweaking the occasional word for a better sentence is still somehow gratifying. Otherwise, I blame the midterm and the election for the distraction. And tomorrow is going to be doing work for Krieger, so this will be a slow week. But at least I'm ahead.
